Healthy Butterfinger Bars

Who doesn’t love Butterfingers, especially when they’re healthier? This bar has only five ingredients, making it incredibly simple and quick to make. It’s the perfect little treat to enjoy in the evening or share with company. A fun dessert that won’t disappoint! I hope you enjoy bringing back some sweet childhood memories. 💛

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup of organic nut butter (this recipe I used peanut butter)
  • 1/4 cup of organic honey
  • 3 cups of organic corn flakes
  • 1 tsp of organic coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup of HU chocolate chips

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the nut butter and honey. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  2. Place the corn flakes in a zip-top bag and gently crush them until they’re broken down but still a bit crunchy.
  3. Pour the crushed corn flakes into the nut butter mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, add the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave for 60 seconds, then stir until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  5. Line a small glass dish or bread pan with parchment paper.
  6. Pour half of the melted chocolate into the bottom of the pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Add the corn flake mixture on top, pressing and spreading it out evenly.
  8. Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the top and smooth it out.
  9. Place the pan in the freezer for 1 hour, or until fully set.
  10. Remove from the freezer, lift out using the parchment paper, and cut into bite-size pieces.
